The mission of the BBB is to promote trust in the marketplace. Since 1917 the Better Business Bureau Serving Eastern Michigan has taken a leadership role in advancing ethical business practices and self-regulation.

To further our mission, we would be pleased to send a member of our professional staff to speak to your organization. We are happy to prepare presentations for:

· Trade and civic organizations

· Senior citizens’ groups

· High schools and colleges

· Religious groups

· and other local organizations

We can present one of our popular topics or prepare something of particular interest to your group that relates to the BBB's work. Presentations can be given as a speech, classroom instruction, or in a format that works for your group.

Topics include:

· About Your Better Business Bureau

· Scams and Fraud (at Home, Work and on the Internet)

· Fraud Prevention for Senior Citizens

· Be a Smart and Safe Consumer

· How to Get More Money Now

· Other topics are available upon request

Presentations usually last at least 30 minutes and may be followed with a question and answer session. Requests for longer presentations and luncheon keynote remarks are also welcome. There is no charge for this service; however we ask that you request a speaker at least one month in advance.

To arrange a presentation by a BBB representative, please contact Lisa Dilg at 248-799-0326 or via email at ldilg@easternmichiganbbb.org.
